For over 25 years, Robert has been leading efforts to assess business' operational activities. These efforts include Strategic Business Planning, Profitability Enhancement, Process Improvement, Merger & Acquisition Planning, Crisis Management and Research & Development Tax Credits. His broad operational knowledge has allowed him to fill a critical role in identifying qualifying r&d activities. Robert has assisted clients in identifying and recovering tens of millions of dollars in r&d credits. Clients have included manufacturers of metals, plastics, rubber, chemicals, food, electronics and point-of-purchase displays as well as many others.
Robert has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, a B.S. in Applied Physics and an M.S. in Management Engineering. His 1993 thesis "A Practical Methodology for Business Process Redesign in a Service Environment" was on the forefront of the BPR field and created a comprehensive enterprise-wide improvement approach that encompasses all aspects of a business. Mr. Singer has developed and taught business improvement classes and has taught/facilitated strategic planning and Kaizen events across the country.
Prior to founding RnD Consulting, Robert was Director of Research & Development (R&D) Tax Credit Consulting for one of the eight largest accounting/consulting firms and before that was a Director with a premier consulting firm focusing on the diagnosis of under-performing operations / organizations and the rapid implementation of improvement plans.

Since 2007 Tony has managed the Western region for RnD Consulting to quantify the broad scope of activities associated with product, software, and process creation or improvement. Such activities are prevalent throughout modern companies; moving from conceptualization and technical sales, to sourcing and design, to set–up, through production, as well as planning for quality control. With a methodology in place, companies can properly claim the generous research and development tax credit, as they have access to documentation and substantiation for all appropriate costs and activities.
Since 2005 he has devoted himself to assisting US companies with the research and development tax credit, saving companies over $3,000,000. Prior to joining RnD Consulting, Tony worked with US manufacturers, integrating their processes with manufacturing facilities in Japan. During this time Mr. Hnyp witnessed his clients realize enormous savings by utilizing US research and export incentives.
